I was in the drugstore the other day and I noticed this old lady buying her
prescription drugs. I got curious where she got her
expense money. Clearly she wasn't working anymore, and she looked like she's not so rich. I asked my friend who works for Pension Service if she knew. She told me that they provide free prescriptions to senior citizens who have applied for income support.
There's guarantee credit, entitled for people who are over the age of 60. It's a replacement for their income support. And there's savings credit. For the people who are over 65, the money can also be from the money that the old folks have
saved for retirement. I think this income support is a great idea for the senior citizens, so they wouldn't have to worry about money and getting prescriptions.
